Traditional women from the Island of Flores think that white strait teeth are very unattractive, to counteract this they chew Beadle root, a root that is said to have medicinal properties or something, which dyes they teeth and mouth red and file there teeth. Who am I to judge beauty, as I have a massive tattoo?

Some women may think that getting lots of attention by foreign guys is fun, I on the otherhand would would rather be covered from head to toe in stinky beach sarongs. Posted by Picasa

Emma and I threw a beach parth (we all know how much I love beach parties) we got 15 people! Sounds amazing but it may have something to do with the seven bottles of hard alcohol Posted by Picasa

Puta and Andre. Puta is one of the maddest ladies I know; lets just say she is getting married in just a few months and this is not the guy she is marrying. Oh Putu. Ohhhh Ohhhhh Putu what are we going to do with ya? Posted by Picasa

All this gigolo research has been taking a toll out of me. Gosh I really hope I get a change to enjoy myself. Posted by Picasa

Balinese beach boy and gigolo. There will be a story and a good story at that, but at this stage my research is not complete. A bit more time is all I ask. Posted by Picasa

"Another dreadful day in paradise", a line the owner of my surf school and now my buddy says quite regularly.

Bali is a tropical paradise that has everything one could ask for, well everything except alarm clocks or anything technical. Since my first day here, I have been on the hunt for a simple clock to help meget up and make it to my early morning surf lessons. However day-in-day-out I can't seem to find a clock – not at tourist shops, hardware stores, dollar like shops, markets… my constant searching for a clock has become my new task to focus on when nothing else is going on. That being said, there is not very much time where not so much isgoing on. Come on, I'm in Bali, what did you think?

Bali is a wonder of the world: people have next to nothing but they are generally a happy bunch with a tendancy to smile and they will remember your name after only briefly meeting you once; food here is amazing and super inexpensive, great clothes that cost next to nothing, hot sandy beaches, amazing surf, beautiful people, and the list could go on and on.

Last week a mate of mine who has lived in Bali for years, Susanna, took me to her hip-hop class. I learned the hard way that the rumor that white people have no rhythm is very true. A Balinese woman on a Zimmer-frame (an old person walker thing) would have had better moves then I. That being said, it's been a long time since that I laughedat myself so much. When I see you next I will show you some of my new moves, they are super HOT!

The highlights of Bali have to be the amazing warm water surf and all the wonderful people I have met along the way. I've done about 30hours of surfing since I got here nine-days ago, and Emma and I have
Thursday. Emma and I met through our surf school, and we get along like we have know each other since children... that may have somethingto do with us always acting like we are four. We get along so well that I have been working her hard to extend her trip a little longer and do some more traveling with me. We'll see. Regardless if she does or not, the two of us have been having a freaking blast! I can't believe how much nonsense we've got up to in the last few days. Email me, and I will tell ya more about it.

Ah yes, surfing. Steven Spielberg put the fear of God into me when I watched Jaws so many years back, and since I have had an irrational fear of being eaten by sharks. Irrational because I am more likely toget hit by lightening, win the lotto or get abducted by the Russian mafia than becoming shark food. Never less, this fear has stopped mefrom doing too many water activities, but luckily for me Bali's water are not the regular home of vicious sharks: there has not been a fatal attack in over eight years. Irrational fear being pushed aside, I have been having a blast learning how to surf. I'm hoping by the time I leave here I can head back to the North America and wow those Tofino boys with my newly honed skills. That being said, surfing has not been easy and my legs, ass and underarms are covered in rashes, cuts, and mainly huge bandages which have given me very peculiar tan lines.

It may look warm, but it's seven in the morning and the three of us just got out of the pool at the after hours club where we were swimming drunkenly in our underwear. Posted by Picasa

Surfing, so much fun yet dreadfully dangerous. Posted by Picasa

Roooooooob and Emma. Emma is the kind of gal who one can’t help but love. The man with Emma in this picture would not disagree as he chased her in the street hollering sweet nothings and professing drunken love. To my surprise he ended up being a stellar guy and we spent the next 14 hours with him doing ridiculous dancing, fending off ugh men, closing a clubs and then after hours parties, doing early morning swimming, taking naps on the beach with both Emma and I cuddled into him and napped, chatting with gigolos and finally eating toasties and doing lots and lots of laughing.
