The guy in the middle was one of our young (20 I think) surf instructors. His laid back attitude, patience and lovely stories about his girlfriend blew my mind. A few days after I got back from surfing I purchased a ticket to Indonesia, one of the world’s best surf spots, and a lot of this courage came from meeting people like him.
